Career Transitions is a program created by Helen Harkness, Ph.D. to help women recovering from divorce or empty nest syndrome to evaluate, determine, and achieved future success.
Dr. Harkness is an extraordinary teacher and pioneer in career planning and adult development. Having taken creative control of her own career in the ‘70s after divorcing an M.D. whom she had sent to medical school, with three young children, a new house that burnt to the ground after only 3 months, and no job. Dr. Harkness is strongly committed to empowering women in both their personal and professional lives.
The transition from homemaker to self-sufficient career woman is never easy. Add the grief of death or divorce and it becomes frightening, maybe impossible without help.
