Tony Cummins, CMP, Planner/Consultant is the owner of THE MEETiNG DEPARTMENT LLC. Tony entered the hospitality industry in 1991 and became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 1999. He became an independent planner in 2005 and incorporated his business in 2007.

He is coming to CDA to discuss his career, how he got his start in the industry, the professional groups and organizations that meeting planners should join and how to get started in the industry.
